The speedboat was definitely fast and a bit bumpy, but it got us to the island quickly. Snorkeling at Hon Dai was better than I expected for Vietnam. I saw a huge blue starfish and lots of small fish. The guide, Tu, was super helpful with my kids in the water.

Great half-day escape from the Hoi An heat. The pickup from our hotel in the Old Quarter was exactly on time, which is rare. We had plenty of time to snorkel and chill on the beach. Just remember to bring your own towel from your hotel, as they do not provide them on the beach.
