My wife and I booked the afternoon slot. Honestly, I was worried about the humidity in an open Jeep, but the breeze felt amazing once we got moving. The mat weaving family was super welcoming, and the guide didn't rush us at all. The rice cracker snack was simple but really hit the spot.

Great way to get out of the crowded ancient town. The kids thought riding in an old US Jeep was the coolest thing ever. The roads get a little bumpy and dusty near the sweet potato farms, so definitely wear sunglasses. The iced coffee stop at the end was exactly what my husband and I needed before heading back to the resort.

As a hobbyist photographer, this was a goldmine. The contrast of the green fields against the vintage Jeep made for killer shots. The boat building yard was completely empty of other tourists, which is rare in Hoi An. Our guide spoke great English and knew exactly where to stop for the best angles.

I was a bit hesitant about climbing in and out of a tall Jeep at my age, but the driver was incredibly patient and helped me every time. Seeing the ancestral house and meeting the locals felt very genuine, not staged like some other big group tours I've been on.

Solid 2.5-hour trip for the money. They picked us up right on time at our hotel lobby. The Banh Dap was crispy and the dipping sauce was surprisingly good. I skipped the extra beer and stuck with the free water they provided from the cooler. A really efficient way to see the countryside.
